SERICA now also in PET
SERICA is the new warm, captivating, silky surface finish successfully presented at Interzum 2017.
Incorporating anti-scratch and anti-fingerprint technology, SERICA is at the new frontier of Alfatherm's range of products, made possible thanks to substantial investments in the lacquering line. Originally produced in PVC, SERICA is now available in PET. The new PET surfaces, like those made in PVC are extremely robust.
“The PET surface - explains Giuseppe Cerizza, general manager of Alfatherm's furniture division - allows us to complete the range of options that our clients can propose to the market. The main advantage of the PET surface is in fact the possibility of widening the span of thicknesses, together with the added advantage of matching edge banding material. In addition PET industrial waste are easy to recover, thus reducing the overall environmental impact of its production”.
